For the surface, use shredded rubber, wood chips, wood
fiber, and sand to reduce injuries related to falls. Surfacing should be laid at a depth of at least 12"
and a minimum of 6' in all directions from the
perimeter of the equipment
inspect loose-fill surfaces, like wood chips, that can
be moved around during normal play and need to be
pushed back into place regularly to ensure adequate
cushioning. The play equipment should not contain any spaces between 3
1/2" and 9" wide, where heads or body parts could be
trapped. The playground equipment should also sit on a level surface and
be firmly anchored to the ground and installed equipments should be at least 6' from fences or walls, all the screws and bolts should be capped.
The equipments should be checked at regular intervals for loose nuts
and bolts and broken, rusty or sharp parts. They should also be checked for hot metal surfaces on equipment, like
slides, which could cause burns. Inspect play areas regularly for hazards such as
broken glass or metal pieces on the ground and make sure the children do not walk in front of moving swings.

i found this picture extraordinary as this playgrond is on a mountain. the tree house in thia picture is similar to that of the movie ---- bridge to terabithia. i like the treehouse alot as if we are tired, we could rest there and the playground is a suitable place for a gathering between the children.
